The three-body ship originated in Switzerland, was built in 2009 and has been owned by Farkas’s team since 2015. In recent years, of course, the catamaran has been continuously developed and this season the brand-new sail is expected to increase even more the performance. Farkas told us that in addition to the experienced members, a generational change began in the team 2 years ago, so they are starting this year’s Kékszalag with a youthful and very ambitious crew.
János Babos, managing director of PS, said that the idea of cooperation came to mind last year, when he participated in a lecture given by Farkas Litkey, then visited Farkas’s club this spring, and at the face-to-face meeting it was immediately revealed how much common they had in their lives.
János himself has been sailing since childhood, and smooth teamwork is key both in sports and in his profession. In the field of accounting and payroll, many smaller teams work in parallel, and only in a well-organized way can they get the most out of their performance, and this kind of consistency is exactly the same in sailing sports.
“As a lover of sailing, cooperation is especially important for us. In addition, Farkas Litkey is a thirteen-time Kékszalag-winner, and Process Solutions has been a market-leading accounting service provider for 16 years, so success is guaranteed” – said János Babos with a smile. The most important thing is that we want to be happy to cross the finish line, and in my experience so far we are happy in the first place, so we will do our best to do so”, added Farkas Litkey.
The 54th Kékszalag, Europe’s longest sailing regatta, will start from Balatonfüred on 14 July 2022 at 9 a.m.
